Misk Art Institute Presents Prince Faisal bin Fahd Arts Hall Exhibition: Summer 2025

More than 40 artists and more than 50 artworks reflecting on intergenerational social change

Misk Art Institute, a subsidiary of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “Misk,” has launched the third edition of the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Arts Hall Exhibition: Summer 2025, running from July 27 to September 25, 2025, with its thematic focus: The Intergenerational Lens of Social Change. Through an intergenerational lens, 43 Saudi and Saudi-based artists explore how personal and collective histories inform evolving identities and catalyze social change. The exhibition reflects on the narratives, values, and lived experiences passed down by families and communities, tracing their impact over time. The diverse works include painting, figurative or abstract representations, photography, multimedia works, and installations, capturing the diversity and ever-evolving vibrancy of Saudi Arabia’s artistic landscape.

The 2025 edition features a unique blend of conventional mediums and digital elements along with interactive experiences, inviting visitors on a sensory journey that fosters deeper emotional connections to the artworks. It also reflects Misk Art Institute’s commitment to nurturing talent and making art accessible through an inclusive, community-driven approach.

Basma Alshathry, Director of the Curatorial Department and Chief Curator at Misk Art Institute, stated: “The Prince Faisal bin Fahd Arts Hall Exhibition: Summer 2025 embodies Misk Art Institute’s commitment to nurturing artistic talent and fostering intergenerational dialogue through art. The exhibition supports emerging talent and offers a platform that reimagines societal shifts through an artistic lens, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 by positioning culture and arts as vital drivers of the Kingdom’s transformation.”

In line with Saudi Vision 2030, the exhibition enriches the Kingdom’s art scene and promotes broader societal engagement, while reinforcing Riyadh’s position as a regional cultural hub. Additionally, the exhibition highlights the growing role of art institutions in shaping a vibrant, creative community that honors its heritage and continues to evolve.
